This project was a fun since weapons for me are few and far between since I prefer to focus on characters and stuff but some weapons I just can’t resist recreating. So on this one from the get go it was extremely important to me as with any weapons to remake faithfully and modernise the original design. Most of this was modelled in max then sculpted on to add damage and dents then textured in substance painter. All in all I think I managed to pull off the look and feel of the original while still updating it so it doesn’t stick out in Fallout 4.
